Cellulose becomes gold

An international success on the field of bacterial nanocellulose could be reached by our research team in April 2011.

The invention “Natural-based bioactive vascular implants of bacterial nanocellulose for heart bypass surgery” was honored with a gold medal on the “Salon International des Inventions” in Geneva, Switzerland. This Invention, representing the world leading position in this field, was received with great interest of the Swiss and foreign visitors and experts.
